Colmet® has defined and redefined the landscape industry with its innovative steel products for more than 65 years. After receiving our first patent in 1958 for galvanized clip landscape edging, Colmet worked continuously to grow our reputation as a company builders and landscapers could trust. In the 1980s we revised the painted edging landscape to make it more manageable for small crews and homeowners. In 2000, we invented and patented Attached-Stake Edging, which simplified retail purchases. In 2021, we were awarded a patent on a new bolt-together steel planter to complete the modern look popular in landscaping today, and in 2023, we made edging better again by patenting a new edging that’s easier to install, with stronger stakes.

Not only do we have a passion for bringing the most innovative and exceptional landscape products to market, but we’re also dedicated to continual improvement. In 2023, we achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for our quality management system. This globally recognized standard keeps every team member actively committed to producing the highest quality products possible.
